First, drain the coolant from the radiator and engine block, then close the drain plug and add tap water and detergent to the radiator.

Secondly, start the excavator engine and run it at a speed slightly higher than the low speed idling. When the pointer of the temperature gauge reaches the green area, continue to run the engine for about ten minutes.

Shut off the engine and open the drain plug, flush the cooling system with tap water until clean water drains.

In addition, it should be noted that for the equipment that has the phenomenon of boiling water caused by high water temperature, after the water tank is cleaned, the equipment still has the phenomenon of high water temperature. The fans can also check from the following aspects:

Re-check the filter screen on the side of the excavator radiator. Due to the different working environment of the excavator, there may be dust or catkins adsorbed on the radiator filter screen, which may cause the water temperature of the excavator to rise and cause the boiler to boil.
